CL2015F4: Pure Happiness For MVP, Who Would Like To Give His Award
Anders Hermodsson, Carlstad Crusaders’s QB, deservedly won the MVP award at the Ledeni kvas IFAF Europe Champions League Final Four. But, he thinks that some other guys should get that, also.
“My first impression after the game (against Vukovi, 84-49 victory in the finals) was… like a sigh of relief. It was really a long journey. We were close to get here (to the title) last year, and we finally did it this year. I couldn’t be more proud of my guys from the team, they fought so hard so now, so for me – it’s just pure happiness“, said Hermodsson.
When panel of journalist, covering Ledeni kvas IFAF Europe Champions League Final Four, voted for the Most Valuable Player, first they wanted to give the award to the Crusaders’ offensive line. But, rules allowed just one man to be MVP, and Hermoddson backed up the journalists’ first choice.
“Absolutely! No doubt, at all! They never get enough credit. And they’re best offensive line in whole Europe. They are fantastic group of guys, they’re so impressive. It’s real privilege to play behind them“, said Anders Hermodsson, who was responsible for record seven touchdowns in the finals.
His teammate from Carlstad’s offensive line, center Kristoffer Hellborg, was unanimous winner for the best lineman of the tournament held in Serbian capitol Belgrade.
