Champions League 2016 Conference North is interesting as all three teams competing are making their debut this year. Vejle Triangle Razorbacks (Denmark), Prague Lions (Czechia) and Wroclaw Panthers (Poland). This is actually the first time for clubs from Czechia and Poland to participate.

Triangle Razorbacks were founded in 1991 under the name Vejle Saints. In 2000 the Saints became the Triangle Razorbacks, which has become one of the most successful teams in Denmark, with 6 national titles in the last 10 years.
Razorbacks will host Prague Lions in their first match of Champions League, while later on in April, they will be traveling to Poland to face the Wroclaw Panthers.

The Prague Lions were founded in 1991, making them the first American football club in Czechia. The Prague Lions were also the first to have Junior and Cadets teams, which have proven a base for their success. Prague had 14 championship appearances, where they won 4 titles.
Prague Lions will play their first match in April, in Denmark, against the Razorbacks, and will be free until middle of May when they’ll host Wroclaw Panthers.

After 10 years of battle between The Crew/Giants vs Devils, the battle that gave the city of Wroclaw 10 medals and 4 championships, there came a time to join forces and create Wroclaw Panthers. A club with almost 20 Polish national team players. Having in mind Panthers history – they have won championships as Crew/Devils/Giants, and now, as Panthers they are two time runner-ups in Polish national league.
Wroclaw is free during the first round of regular season, and will host Vejle Triangle Razorbacks April 30. 2 weeks later, Panthers will have an away game in Prague against the Lions.
