IFAF Europe executive board has decided to provisionally grant U19 hosting rights of the final tournament in 2017 to national association of France (FFFA) and the city of Paris.
Final confirmation will be granted after the inspection of the facilities.
IFAF Europe Chairman Mr. Goran Nisavic said: “We are all glad we have received interest from multiple national associations for hosting of the tournament, since this tells us that we are on the right track of developing our beloved sport in Europe.
We have ranked hosting applications by the following criteria: provisions to participants, hosting city and venue and applicant rankings.
It was unanimously decided that FFFA has the best offer , especially from participants perspective since it will be almost cost free tournament for them. I would like to thank all national associations that have submitted their offers and especially FFFA and wish them a best of luck in organizing the tournament”
